Terms & Conditions our rental car company on Corfu

To drive a car on the island of Corfu, in our company Corfu Rent Car, the rental driver must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license Issued at least 12 months before the rental period. An exception is the rental of minibuses (minivans): seven-seater and nine-seater cars -the driver must be over 25 years old, with a driving experience of at least 3 years To get a car for rent, in our rental company CorfuRentCar.com
If you don’t live in the E.U. you’ll need to have a valid license from your country of residence. Your driver’s license needs to be written in the Roman alphabet (and from the below countries also accepted: Armenia,Albania, Azerbaijan / Belarus, Brazil, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bahrain / Chile / Georgia / Israel,Iceland, Iran / Liechtenstein / Montenegro, Monaco, Moldova / North Macedonia, Norway, Northern Ireland / Russia / Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, South Africa, Senegal / Turkey / Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, United Kingdom of Great Britain.
If not, you should have an International Driving Permit as well.

Pick-up car at Corfu airport

If you rent a car at the airport of the island of Corfu, then, after receiving your luggage, in the airport building, driver will meet you with a nameplate and a logo of the  CORFURENTCAR or with your Full Name.

• the day before your arrival, taking care of our clients, we will send you an information reminder letter by e-mail / Whatsapp / Viber / Telegram message
• You will not have to wait in line at the check-in counter
• You will be immediately taken to the car, after which the lease will be signed and the order will be paid

Pick-up from your hotel or apartment on Corfu
If you have booked a car with delivery to any, even the most remote point of the island of Corfu, then:
1) You do not need to remind us of your order yourself:
• taking care of our customers, on the eve of the day of car delivery, we will contact you to clarify the details of receiving the car
2) You do not need to go to the reception in advance and waste your precious minutes of rest while waiting for the driver:
• on the day of car delivery, 10 minutes before the driver arrives, we call you WhatsApp/Viber/Telegram or regular phone to inform you that you can go down to the reception and pick up your car

All our prices on the website islandcorfu.com/corfurentcar are final and include all taxes (VAT 24% also include).

Fuel used during the rental period is payed by the customer. The level of tank when you return the car on Corfu has to be same as when you get it. Refunds are not given.

Free cancellation up to 12 hours before the booking!

No deposit required, our clients DO NOT need a credit card for security deposit or for gasoline also.

• at first you will receive a pre-booking to your e-mail

• within a short period (usually few hours) of time we will process your order and contact you to clarify the details of your booking, confirm it or inform you about possible alternatives by one of the convenient means of communication – (Whatsapp/Viber/ e-mai/ call).

• despite the absence of prepayment, once your reservation is confirmed, we guarantee you the receipt of the vehicle, except in case of force majeure.

• in case of difficulties with your booking (due to car breakdown, accident and other problems) our company can replace the category of the car with a similar, higher one without additional notification of the client or change of the price. In case of impossibility to find a replacement, first of all we try to keep the booking, for this reason the booking can be transferred to another company with similar terms and insurance conditions without prior notice, while customer service and assistance continues throughout the booking. If it is not possible to resolve force majeure circumstances and find a similar replacement, our company will contact the customer as far in advance as possible.

In our Rental company minimum rental: one day

Some special terms for rentals for less than 3 Days:
Free delivery and collection at airport, town, hotels, any location on Corfu island when vehicle is delivered and returned in the same location.
Exception:
If delivery and collection in a different locations (means only for: hotel – airport or airport- hotel) ,for rentals 1-2 days extra charge 10 eur, and clients will be advised at before the time of booking.

Pay on arrival cash or with debit/credit card VISA, MasterCard, Maestro.

Renters are responsible for all toll fees (speeding ticket, parking & traffic fines or another)

In case of a late delivery the renter will be charged 20 euros for the representative (from 23:00 until 07:59)

In the event of a breakdown or accident, you must contact with us immediately.
